Department of Zoology, collaborated with Students Exnora of Seethalakshmi
Ramaswamy College, Tiruchirappalli jointly organised An Environmental Awareness
Programme on Integrated Farm Management for Sustainable Agriculture. Ms.
Rishikaa, a third-year student in the department of botany, welcomed the
gathering. The chief guest was honoured
by Dr. Kala, Dean of Quality and Research & IQAC Coordinator of SRC, Dr.
Kamaladevi, Associate Professor and Head of Botany Department and Dr. A.S.
Maheshwari, Assistant Professor and Head of Zoology Research Department.
Dr. Naveen Krishnan, the President of GNF shared his practical
knowledge about Integrated farming and emphasising its advantages for a
sustainable way of life.
The
programme took place in the presence of Botany & Zoology department faculties
Dr. Devasundari, Assistant Professor, Dr. Thilagavathi, Assistant Professor, Dr.
R. Prabhavathy, Assistant Professor, Dr. Viji, Assistant Professor, Dr. Isai,
Assistant Professor, Dr. Anitha, Assistant Professor, and Ms. Lavanya,
Assistant Professor of Home Science. The
formal vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Anusuya, a final year student of
Zoology.
