580th programme of the Global Nature Foundation(GNF)

Zoology of Seethalakshmi Ramaswamy College in Tiruchirappalli, collaboration
with OISCA International, Japan jointly organised an awareness programme on
World Ozone Day. This programme was headed by Dr.A.S.Maheshwari, Assistant
Professor and Head. Dr.Isai, Assistant Professor, gave the welcome address.
Dr. Naveen Krishnan, the President of GNF was invited as the program`s
principal speaker, and he presented a speech outlining the many and easy ways
to protect the ozone layer to the students. The students responded
enthusiastically to his message and took the oath that they could contribute to
the protection of the environment.
Ms. Abirami, Ms. Santhakumari, Ms. Aakruthi, Ms.
Poojanandhini, Ms. Dharshini, Ms. Bhavani, and Ms. Elakiya shared their
feedback at the end of the session. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr.
Viji, Assistant Professor. The programme took place in the presence of Dr.
Anitha, Assistant Professor, and other faculty members.
