Today,
10.04.2023, the Global Nature
Foundation and the Forest Department of Theni District jointly
organized a one-day awareness program about wildlife conservation for the
forest officials and staff members. In this program, Mr. Gopi, the outreach
coordinator of the Global Nature
Foundation, gave awareness to the forest department officials.
The Global Nature Foundation had built a trap cage to catch the bear. Gopi gave
training to the forest officials on how to catch the bear with this cage and
how to safely release it back into the wild.
